Flexible Rules
Using one or more of the following rules, you can construct criteria to collect objects and prepare them for export.
Version information for seed objects
Collector rule
Configuration rule
Version Information for Seed Objects
To specify seed objects, enter the object identifiers of the seeds or use rules to select the seed, such as the following:
Folder (to select absolute latest)
Search criteria
Baseline
Optionally, you can specify a specific version of seed objects, when not referring to the absolute latest version. To do so, specify a specific version or use rules to select a version, such as the following:
Latest on specific life cycle state (release level)
Latest on specific revision
There can be multiple seed objects (with optional version information for each seed or for multiple seeds). And, if the names of those seed objects are not specified in the recipe file, then they must be provided through the command line utility, else an error occurs.
If the names of the seed objects are specified in a recipe file and also specified in the command line utility, then general union rules apply.
Collector Rule
The collector rule is optional. You can specify the collection as all (default), required, or none. If it is not specified, the default collector (all) is used.
The default includes all of the drawings of the collected seed objects.
Configuration Rule
The configuration rule is optional. It can be set as latest (default), as stored, or baseline name. If not specified, the default configuration (latest) is used, regardless of the version of the seed objects specified.
