Quality Management Solutions: Regulatory Report Submissions Removed from Customer Experience Management

Summary
Starting with Windchill 12.1.0.0, the support for Windchill regulatory-based reports (that is, eMDR, Canada, EU Vigilance, Australia, Japan, Israel) have been removed from the Windchill Customer Experience Management for the fresh installation. For the upgrade installation, only eMDR, Canada and EU Vigilance reports have been removed.
PTC recommends that customers and partners must move to the Windchill Regulatory Hub module for supporting submissions, as it provides a flexible methodology for deploying and updating submission needs as regulations change.
When upgrading from old releases to 12.1.0.0, follow these steps for upgrading the regulatory reports (eMDR, Canada, EU Vigilance):
1. Create and install replacement Regulatory Hub based regulatory reports to replace the existing legacy regulatory reports in your current Windchill release. The new regulatory reports that are based on the Regulatory Hub can be created in Windchill starting with 12.1.0.0 release. All new regulatory reports should start using the new reports based on the Regulatory Hub.
2. Process all existing legacy regulatory reports to closure.

All legacy regulatory reports will continue to be available for historical reasons.

3. After all legacy regulatory reports are processed for closure, upgrade the system.
