Preferences Managed in the Windchill Preference Management Utility
This topic lists Windchill Workgroup Manager preferences supported for CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE that can be set or modified, depending on your Windchill role, using the Preference Management utility in Windchill.
* 
• Preferences by the same name, managed in the wgmclient.ini file on the client system, have priority.
• Descriptions for these preferences are available within the Windchill Preference Management utility Set Preference window.
To modify the value of a preference on the Windchill server:
1. From the Quick Links menu at the top of the Windchill home page, select My Settings > Preferences.
The Preference Management utility window opens.
2. Begin searching for the preference whose value you want to modify by entering the preference category name Workgroup Manager Client in the Find in Tree field.
The Workgroup Manager Client category is found and highlighted.
3. Click + next to the category name to expand the preference list.
4. Right-click on the preference whose value you want to set (see Preferences Currently Supported in the Workgroup Manager Client Category) and select Set Preference from the menu.
The Set Preference window opens.
5. Set the desired value for the preference.
6. Click OK.
The preference is set.
