Customizing Part Attributes and Usage Attributes Criteria
Out of the box, the Part Attributes criterion detects parts with updated values for the Source and Assembly Mode attributes and the Usage Attributes criterion detects parts with updated values for the Find Number attribute. You can customize these criteria to detect the attributes of your choice.
Perform the following steps to customize the attributes for the Part Attributes and Usage Attributes criteria:
1. Access the mpmlink.properties.xconf file located at WT_HOME/codebase/com/ptc/windchill/mpml/xconfs.
2. Add an entry for the required part attribute under the property com.ptc.windchill.mpml.copyOver.update.wt.part.WTPart.
The entries for the part attributes source and partType are available by default.
3. Add an entry for the required usage attribute under the property com.ptc.windchill.mpml.copyOver.update.wt.part.WTPartUsageLink.
The entry for the usage attribute findNumber is available by default.
