Specifying a Supplier Organization
Every supplier is associated with an organization. When you are creating a new supplier, you can either search for an existing supplier organization, or create a new one.
As a Sourcing Administrator, you can create a new supplier organization on-the-fly. For this, the Site Administrator must update the organization to which the Sourcing Administrator belongs, and enable the Allow sourcing administrators to create organizations option.
To create a new supplier organization on-the-fly:
1. In the New Supplier window, click next to the Supplier Organization field.
The New Organization window opens.
2. In the New Organization window, specify the organization name, type, ID, and any other relevant attributes.
3. Click OK.
