Configuring an Out-of-Process JDBC Adapter
Additional steps might be necessary if you are using the adapter out-of-process, including:
• When creating the JDBC adapter entry, delete the name in the Service Class field. Add the host and port used to access the adapter in the Host and Port fields.
• Encrypt the <adapter_service>.passwd property.
• Identify the start file to use when starting the JDBC adapter out of process.
• Specify an additional Launch property for the Naming Service.
