Editing Common Attributes of Department Data
Supply chain, location, and category are considered as common attributes of a department data object. The following procedure describes how to edit the values configured for these common attributes:
1. Access the Edit Common Attributes action using any of the following methods:
◦ On the information page of a department data object, select > .
◦ Under the Related Objects tab of part information page, in the Department Data table, right-click the appropriate object and select Edit Common Attributes.
The Edit Common Attributes window opens.
2. Edit the values configured for the supply chain, location, and category attributes. Ensure that you provide unique set of values. The attributes will not be updated if a department data object of the same type, with the same common attribute values as provided exist in the system.
3. Click OK to save the updated values.
