Copying the Entire Set of Instances

Activity with family table objects is only available in Windchill PDMLink or Windchill ProjectLink.

To copy the entire set of instances for a family table:
1. In Windchill, navigate to a Folders page listing your family table objects.
2. In the folder table, instance objects are denoted by the instance object icon
. Select the table row that contains the instance you want to copy.
3. In the selected row, use the right-click menu to select Save As. The Save As window opens.
4. In the
Save As window, follow the guidelines and procedure (from step 2 on) for Saving Commonspace Objects as New Objects, using the collection functionality to collect other instance objects. See
Saving Commonspace Objects As New Objects.
