Create a Repository Definition
In addition to creating an LDAP adapter entry, you must also create a repository definition for each additional enterprise directory service.
Use the Task Delegate Administration utility to create and manage repository definitions. You can access this utility in two ways:
Navigate to Site > Utilities and click Task Delegate Administration.
From the Info*Engine Property Administration utility, click the Task Delegate Administration link from the property administration main page.
From the Task Delegate Administration utility, perform the following steps:
1. Click the Manage Repository link in the menu on the left.
2. Under the Create Repository section, enter the following values:
Repository Name—The service name of the adapter. If your adapter name includes the period character (“.”), you must reverse the order of the name components. For more information, see Create and Configure the JNDI Adapter.
Repository Type—Select com.ptc.windchill-ldap from the drop-down menu. This is the value for an enterprise directory service used by Windchill.
Webject Processor—Select the JNDI adapter from the list provided.
Task Processor—Select the adapter name from the list provided.
*
Both the Webject Processor and Task Processor fields should both be set to the same value as the default LDAP adapter (typically the one used for the Windchill Directory Server).
3. Click Create to create the repository definition.
