Data Loading Considerations
The installation configures a standalone Windchill system that functions by using the cluster host name. For proper function, the cluster alias must be mapped to 127.0.0.1 in the local hosts file to allow the loader utilities to communicate with the newly installed Windchill system.
For manual data loading, there are no special steps for loading data in a clustered configuration. Ensure that the cluster is up and running before loading data. The data load can be done in any of the cache client nodes. If a foreground method server is configured on the master cache node, the data load can also be run successfully. Only one load must be run per cluster.
