Editing a Package or Technical Data Package
The Edit action is available from the package information page and in the right-click actions menu for a package. When a package is locked, some attributes of the package can no longer be edited without either unlocking it or creating a new revision. By default, you can only modify the package description attribute using the Edit action. All other attributes are read-only.
Depending on your settings, you might also be able to select a domain for the package. A domain is an administrative area that defines a set of policies, such as access control, indexing, and notification. Packages, like folders, are associated with a domain and are subject to access control policies defined for that domain. To select a domain other than the default setting, click Find.

If you have Windchill Aerospace and Defense module installed, you can also edit CDRL and SDRL packages. For those packages, additional steps will appear on the Edit Package window. For information about using these steps, see Editing a CDRL or SDRL.
