Viewing Change Summary Reports
The change management summary reports include the following:
Problem Report Summary Report
Change Request Summary Report
Variance Summary Report
Change Notice Summary Report
Change Review Summary Report
To view a summary report of a specific problem report, change request, variance, change notice, or change review, select View Summary Report from the Actions list on the information page of the object.

You can also access the summary reports from the Reports menu under Change in the navigation pane.
Each summary report includes fields taken directly from the specific object. It contains the Attachments section that displays formant icon and file name. You can open and download the file content.

If you export the report to an excel or CSV format, the link for the attachment will not open.
It also contains a signature list of individuals that are to be held accountable for the change. This signature list includes the role and full name of the individuals responsible for the task, as well as their signoff vote and date.
The Problem Report Summary Report contains the following fields, taken directly from the problem report: Name, Number, Category, Requester, Created On, State, and Description. The report also contains the Related Changes and Affected Objects table if related changes and affected objects exist.
The Change Request Summary Report contains the following fields, taken directly from the change request: Name, Number, Category, Complexity, Created By, Created On, Resolution Date, Need Date, State, Description, and Proposed Solution. The report also contains the Related Changes and Affected Objects tables if related changes and affected objects exist.
The Variance Summary Report contains the following fields, taken directly from the variance: Name, Number, Category, Created By, Variance Owner, Created On, State, and Description. The report also contains the Affected Objects table if affected objects exist.
The type and number attributes in the Affected Objects table are supported for remote affected object types in addition to local objects for Problem Report, Change Request, and Variance. Click the link in the Number column of the Affected Objects table to open the information page of the local object in Windchill and remote affected object type in the remote system.
The Change Notice Summary Report contains the following fields, taken directly from the change notice: Name, Number, Complexity, Created By, Created On, State, and Description. It also contains any related changes, summary of changes, and dispositions. This report also summarizes differences between the bills of materials and documents related to parts and Windchill MPMLink objects (if Windchill MPMLink is installed). The Summary of Changes section in the Change Notice Summary Report contains visual indicators and change indicator icons for actions such as, Change, Replace, Delete, and Insert. It contains related information of a part such as Component Number, Quantity, Unit, and Reference Designator.
The Change Review Summary Report contains the following fields, taken directly from the change review: Name, Number, Category, Created On, Resolution Date, State, Description, Description (summary), Need Date, and Notes. The report also contains the Related Changes and Review Objects table if related changes and review objects exist.
