Business Rules Severity Level
Business Rules Severity Level provides the set of allowed levels. The S1000D specification provides a standard list of values and allows for project specific values.

Business Rules Severity Levels can currently be managed for project reference purposes only.
To add a new Business Rule Severity Level to a look-up library:
1. In the Navigator pane, click the Recent Libraries button, and then View All.
The Libraries window is displayed.
2. Click the appropriate S1000D Look-Up Library library.
The folder view of the look-up library is displayed.
3. Open the Business Rules Severity Level folder.
4. Select Business Rules Severity Level.
The Business Rules Severity Level object is displayed.
5. Click the Structure tab.
6. Select the Business Rules Severity Level root node, and then select Insert > Insert New from the context menu.
The New Part dialog box is displayed. Note that Type is Business Rules Severity Level.
7. Add the name (ID) and description.
The values brsl01 (Most severe), brsl02 (Medium severity) and brsl03 (Least severe) are supplied.
For custom types, the name (ID) can be a value from brsl51 to brsl99, according to the S1000D specification.
8. Click Finish.
9. The new type is added under the Business Rules Severity Level structure root node.
