Information Element List Preferences

Preferences can be set that determine how the Information Element List tab is used.

To set preferences, access the Windchill preference management facilities by selecting Utilities > Preference Management from the Navigation pane.

Information Element List preferences are added to the Service Information Management preference group. Preferences include:

• Enable Information Element List. The Enable Information Element List preference enables (default for the Windchill Service Information Manager — S1000D Module) or disables the Information Element List tab.

• Show all child nodes. By default, the Information Element List tab displays all the data modules and ICNs that exist at and below the currently selected node.

The Show all child nodes preference specifies:

◦ Yes. Display all the information elements for the currently selected node and all sub nodes.

◦ No. Display just those information elements for the currently selected node.
