Create ICN Dialog Box
The Create ICN dialog box allows you to create an Information Control Number (ICN) in Windchill directly from Arbortext Editor.
ICNs can be created based on:
Model Identifier
CAGE code
* 
Model Identifier and/or CAGE code-based ICN creation is dependent on the exact options that were set during product creation.

Object
Description
Type
Select the type of ICN you wish to create — based on either Model Identifier or CAGE code.
Use Template
Select this option if you want to use an illustration template as the basis for the ICN.
Template
Select a template from the list of templates defined for the product.
Height (mm)
The height defined for the ICN in the illustration template
You may be able to change this value, depending on the template you selected.
Width (mm)
The width defined for the ICN in the illustration template
You may be able to change this value, depending on the template you selected.
File Path
Use the Browse option to search the filesystem for the required graphic file, if you are not using an illustration template
Information Control Number
Tab containing data input fields for the selected ICN.
The fields displayed differ based on the Type of ICN being created.
Attachments
Tab providing the option to associate other files with the ICN object.

Create
Creates the ICN that you selected and closes the Create ICN dialog box.
The ICN is saved to the default content folder for the current product.
Close
Closes the Create ICN dialog box.
When creating a ICN using this dialog box, you are subject to memory restrictions allocated to the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) used by Arbortext Editor. You may need to include the APTJAVAVMMEMORY environment variable for the Arbortext environment, and set it to a value (in MB) that will support your requirements.
