Open from Windchill
You can open a design file into your active Creo Schematics session from the following Windchill locations.
• An active workspace on the primary server.
• A non-active workspace on the primary server.
• The Windchill Workgroup Manager client.
To open a design file into your active Creo Schematics session:
1. Select the design that you want to edit and click check out in the active workspace Object List table.

Depending on your preference, you can check out the design from the active workspace, or from within an active Creo Schematics session.
2. Choose the design to open by selecting File > Open in > Creo Schematics, or by right-clicking on the row of the design and selecting the action Open in Creo Schematics.
3. If you haven’t checked out the design while in the active workspace, check out the design from Creo Schematics by selecting the check out icon in the Windchill ribbon.
4. When finished viewing or editing the design, you can either save it to the active workspace, or check it into Windchill. You can click the Checkin icon in the Windchill ribbon from Creo Schematics, or click the icon from the active workspace.
