Checking In a File
Checking a file into the Windchill commonspace removes the checkout lock and makes the file available to other users.
Windchill Workgroup Manager for Creo Illustrate provides the following check in commands from Creo Illustrate:
Checkin — Checks in objects from your current Creo Illustrate session to the Windchill server using default values that you can set in your workspace's configuration specification. This method of check in is only available from the Creo Illustrate session.
Custom Check In — The custom method is available from both an active Creo Illustrate session and from the combined view of your active workspace and Workspace Local Directory (WLD). Custom Check In allows you to set certain check in options in Windchill Workgroup Manager.
For example, use Custom Check In when you want to associate an illustration with an Illustration Holder during first time check in.
Performing an Auto Check In
In the Creo Illustrate session, select the Check In icon in the Windchill ribbon.
The system checks in the current Creo Illustrate file to the server using the default check in options.
Performing a Custom Check In
