Tracking Licenses for Windchill Quality Management Solutions
Using the System Configuration Collector utility, administrators can track the number of unique licenses used daily.
For nonconformance, customer experience management, and CAPA applications, the system tracks each user who takes an action that creates a history XML file, such as saving or finishing a task.
For design control, the system tracks each user who takes a design history file or design master record action. The system records a license count when a user performs check-in, revise, and complete actions and the related primary business object is part of the design history file.
For document control, the system tracks each user who takes a training tracking action. The system records a license count when a user adds or edits a training record. It also records a count for the following items:
Training records that are pending
Training records that are completed where the current date is between the completed date and expiration date
Training records that are completed where the expiration date of the training record is blank
