Reviewing and Confirming the Installation
The Installation Overview lists the details of the installation. This summary lists the values you entered into the installer and values that have been set by default for you. Review these details to verify their accuracy.
The Installation Overview panel also gives an indication of the estimated disk space requirements to complete the installation based upon the options you have chosen. After you click Install on the Installation Overview panel, the installer checks your system for the required disk space. If there is not enough space, the installer presents a dialog box that informs you of this and waits for the space to be available. You may also choose to go back and select a different installation directory.
The disk space check can be disabled by setting the installer variable CHECK_DISK_SPACE to a value OFF (note all CAPS) prior to launching the installer. From a command prompt, enter the following command:
<PTCSolutionInstallerDirectory>/setup -DCHECK_DISK_SPACE=OFF
Click Save to copy an HTML version of this summary to your local machine. A file called <summaryName>.htm.properties is saved in addition to the summary that contains every property value set during that installation.

The installation summary includes un-encrypted password information. After the installation is complete, make sure that the following files are only accessible by those with the appropriate permissions:
<Windchill>\installer\*.properties
After you have reviewed the summary, click Install.
Once the installation procedure has completed a successful installation dialog appears. Review the settings in the dialog to ensure that everything was installed as you anticipated. Additionally, you can:
Verify that there are windows on the desktop showing the processes running for PTC HTTP Server, the Windchill Server Manager, and the Windchill Method Server.
Verify that Windchill is configured correctly with PTC HTTP Server. Open a web browser and enter the base Windchill URL configured during installation to verify that it is working. This URL is also listed as “Server URL” at the bottom of the final window in the PSI. Authenticate using the Windchill administrator (default: “wcadmin”) and password configured during installation
