Annotating AMLs and AVLs
While on the AML/AVL tab, you can add your annotations and save them in an annotation set. In that way, you can make changes to the AML and AVL, but not apply them until the changes are verified.
Consider these rules for annotating an AML or AVL:
• If a manufacturer part is removed from the AML, all associated vendor parts are also removed.

Although not visually redlined, the vendor parts that are associated to a redlined manufacturer part are removed from the AVL when the annotation is applied.
• Removing a vendor part does not remove any associated manufacturer parts.
