Configuration
You must configure Subversion before you begin using the Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software system.
Installation Requirement for the Windchill Integration for Subversion
Ensure that you have Java installed and configured for Subversion.
1. Install Java on the same machine as the Subversion software.
2. Go to the PTC software downloads page on the Windchill server and download the webservices-api.jar file.
3. Copy the webservices-api.jar file into the following Java directory.
%JAVA_HOME%\jre\lib\endorsed\
Configuring Subversion Software with Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software
Perform the following configuration steps before using Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software.
1. Create a temporary file location for the Subversion adapter in a Windows or UNIX environment for its miscellaneous activities.
For example, <HOME>user/TempForSVNAdapter
2. Add the directory /opt/CollabNet_Subversion/bin to your $PATH environment variable.
3. For UNIX, add the directory, setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH/opt/CollabNet_Subversion/lib:${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}
4. Restart the Windchill server.
5. Execute the commands from a new shell after updating the “.local_csrc.(restart shell)”.
