Associating a Context to an Adapter
Site or Organization Administrators must associate a context for each adapter listed in the Adapters Administration utility. This allows users the ability to modify the context associations to their integrated SCM adapter.
This procedure explains how to associate one or more contexts to a Subversion adapter.

1. From Site > Utilities or Organizations > Utilities select Adapters Administration in the System Administration section of the page to open the Adapters Administration window.

The Adapter Associations table lists any contexts already associated to the adapter.
2. From the Adapter Definition table in the Adapters Administration window, click Associate Context to open the Adapter Associations window.

3. To associate a new or additional context to the adapter, click Associate Context to open the Find Context window.
4. In the Find Context window, you can choose from the following search options:
a. Click the Type pull-down menu to select the type of context to search on. Valid context types are Library, Product, Project and Program.

Depending on the context—type selected, unique fields in the Find Context window opens for you to enter information about the context type selected.
b. If you know the context name, enter it in the Context Name field. This field is optional.
c. If you want to only include contexts categorized by member association, click the I am a member of check box. This field is optional.
d. Click Search.
5. In the Search Results table, click the check box in one or more contexts rows to associate this adapter to one or more contexts.
6. Once the search and selection is finished, click OK in the Find Context window. Once the system loads your selections, the Adapter Associations window opens where the newly added contexts associated to this adapter appear in the Adapter Associations table.
7. In the Adapter Associations table, click the Default Reference Object pull-down list to select the reference type for each context association.

Hold down the CTRL/SHIFT keys to select more than one context association for a product, project, or library.
a. Select All, if you want to associate the contexts of this adapter to all available views for products, projects, and libraries. Go to step 8.
b. Select Product, if you want to associate the context to this adapter to one or more available products. Go to step 9.
c. Select Project, if you want to associate the context to this adapter to one or more available projects. Go to step 10.
d. Select Library, if you want to associate the context to this adapter to one or more available library views. Go to step 11.
8. If you selected All in step 7:
a. If you have additional contexts to configure, go to step 7 to configure the Reference Type and to follow the instructions in this step.
b. Or, click OK to load and save the selections. The Adapters Administration window opens.
9. If you selected Product in step 7:
a. Click Configure Views in the Default reference Object field of the selected context to open the Products Specification window.
b. Select one or more product views you want to associate with this context.
c. When finished, click OK to load and save your selections. The Adapter Associations window opens.
d. If you have additional contexts to configure, go to step 7 to configure the Reference Type and to follow the instructions in this step.
e. Or, click OK to load and save the selections. The Adapters Administration window opens.
10. If you selected Project in step 7:
a. Click Configure Views in the Default reference Object field of the selected context to open the Projects Specification window.
b. Select one or more project views you want to associate with this context.
c. When finished, click OK to load and save your selections. The Adapter Associations window opens.
d. If you have additional contexts to configure, go to step 7 to configure the Reference Type and to follow the instructions in this step.
e. Or, click OK to load and save the selections. The Adapters Administration window opens.
11. If you selected Library in step 7:
a. Click Configure Views in the Default reference Object field of the selected context to open the Libraries Specification window.
b. Select one or more library views you want to associate with this context.
c. When finished, click OK to load and save your selections. The Adapter Associations window opens.
d. If you have additional contexts to configure, go to step 7 to configure the Reference Type and to follow the instructions in this step.
e. Or, click OK to load and save the selections. The Adapters Administration window opens.
