Benefit
Provides a set of Windchill default system attributes that are mapped to CAD file properties during the PDM actions (For example; open, save and checkin). The newly added attributes are listed as follows:
• PTC_WM_CREATED_BY
• PTC_WM_CREATED_ON
• PTC_WM_MODIFIED_BY
• PTC_WM_MODIFIED_ON
Additional Details
The Date.Type.Parameter.Format preference in the wgmclient.ini file controls the date and time string.
By default, this propagation of system attributes is disabled. If you have a business requirement to turn it on, a server preference setting is required. This is intended to avoid a performance issue when loading large assemblies that were saved in the previous release.
