It is possible to invoke the Remove Update Required Flag action on a parts list without requiring specific user interaction. Updates to a parts list can be completed via workflow, for example on completion of a change notice.

An API for the Remove Update Required Flag action for a parts list is available, although it is not included in out of the box Windchill Service Parts installations. Please contact PTC’s Global Services Organization for assistance with workflow customization to include the action.
