Additional Details
If your site requires multiple types of CAPA or Nonconformance, you can create subtypes through the Type and Attribute Management utility. Like other subtypes, any subtype created from the CAPA or Nonconformance type, the configuration is inherited from its parent type. Additionally, you can use the Type and Attribute Management utility to add attributes and constraints (such as a value or range of values) to an instance-based attribute to the type.
The following quality objects support creation of subtypes:
• CAPA Activity
• CAPA Request Affected Objects
• Nonconformance Review
• Other Containment Item
• Containment Details
The following quality objects now support creation of custom attributes for both local and global attributes:
• CAPA Analysis Activity
• CAPA Confirmation
• CAPA Effectiveness
The custom table view feature is supported with mentioned tables at the following locations:
• Affected Objects and Other Items tables in the Structure and Nonconformance Management tabs, and the Nonconformance Investigation task wizard.
• Affected Objects and Actions tables in the Structure and CAPA Management tabs, and CAPA Review, CAPA Investigation and CAPA Effectiveness Task wizards.
