Adapter Definition Table
The Adapter Definition table allows administrators to perform the following actions for adapters:
Create adapters
Edit adapters
Associate contexts to adapters
Delete adapters
View adapter details
Check adapter status
The Tooltip commands in the Adapter Definition table allows administrators the ability to perform actions for SCM and DTS adapters at the site and organization levels.
Tooltip Command
Description
With multiple objects in a table, Table display options allows you to choose which objects you want to view. Select the objects in the table you want to view and click Table display options in the title bar of the table.
Help displays detailed help information about a topic, task, or table.
Search in table allows you to search for specific attributes to find in the table. If there are no results from the search, the original table entries do not display. Remove the search criteria in the Search in Table field and press Enter to display the entries in the table.
Create a new adapter opens the Adapter Definition window for the creation of a new adapter.
Edit opens the Adapter Definition window to modify attributes for an adapter.
Associate Objects opens the Adapter Associations window for the creation of context associations to the adapter. Multiple contexts can be associated to an adapter.
Applicable context types are Windchill Products, Projects, and Libraries.
Map Attributes opens the Adapter Associations window of an adapter for the creation of context associations to the adapter and to manage its mapping definitions with Windchill. This option is only applicable for DTS adapters.
View adapter information opens the information page for an adapter. The Details tab lists the Visualization and Attributes of the adapter. The Associations tab lists the context associations to the adapter.
Check Status opens the Adapter Status window for an adapter. It lists the Adapter Name, Adapter Type, and Adapter Status details.
Delete permanently removes the adapter and any context associations or repositories for the adapter from the site or organization.

Field or Column
Description
Name
The descriptive and unique name to identify the name of the adapter machine.
The following sort options are available for this column: Sort Ascending, Sort Descending, Lock, Unlock, and Columns.
Actions
The following tooltip commands are available from this table: Create a new adapter, Edit, Associate Objects, Map Attributes, View adapter information, Check Status, and Delete.

Adapter Type
The following adapter types can be listed in this table: Integrity Source (SCM), Rational ClearCase (SCM), Subversion (SCM), and Defect Tracking System [includes Integrity Defects, Bugzilla and Atlassian JIRA adapters].
The following sort options are available for this column: Sort Ascending, Sort Descending, Lock, Unlock, and Columns.
Adapter Host
Depending on the adapter type, the adapter host is:
The IBM Rational ClearCase adapter View Host name.
The repository server URL address of an Integrity Source (SCM) or Subversion adapter.
The defects server URL address for an Integrity Defects, Bugzilla or Atlassian JIRA adapter.
The following sort options are available for this column: Sort Ascending, Sort Descending, Lock, Unlock, and Columns.
Adapter Display Name
The descriptive and unique name to identify the adapter that is easily understood by users. The adapter display name can have special characters and spaces. This field is optional.

Last Modified
The most recent date the adapter values were updated or changed.
The following sort option is available for this column: Last Modified.
