Inserting an Existing Resource Into Another Resource Hierarchy
To insert an existing resource:
1. Select and checkout the resource you would like to add an existing resource to from the navigation pane.
2. Click the Uses tab.
3. Click the insert existing resource icon
.
A search window opens.
4. Enter the search criteria and click OK.
The results of the search are returned at the bottom of the window.
5. Select the desired object, and click OK.
The selected object appears in the explorer window, in the resource hierarchy.
| Use the Resource Selection tab to view existing resource details and hierarchies. Then select the resource or resource group you would like to use, and copy and paste, or drag and drop it to the appropriate location in the navigation pane, or to the Uses tab of another open Manufacturing Resource Explorer. |
