Setting Path Filters
Setting a path filter allows you to filter the display of large assemblies so that only the subassemblies that you are currently working on are displayed. By doing this you can eliminate the need to search through large numbers of parts and assemblies to find the objects you need.
Path filters can be applied in a number of places while working with Windchill MPMLink objects. For example:
• When working in the Tree Picker displayed on the Structure tab of a Process Plan.
• On various Visualization tabs.
• In Associative Part Structure Browsers.
To set a path filter:
1. Select the assembly that you would like to display.
2. Select set path filter icon. The Set Path Filter dialog appears.
3. Select the assemblies that you want to filter for.
