Browser Settings in MAPSB
MAPSB is tested and certified for use with the following web browsers:
Internet Explorer
Firefox
Google Chrome
For information about the versions of web browsers supported with a Windchill release, see the Windchill Software Matrices document on PTC.com.
When working on an MAPSB session that is extended across multiple monitors, resizing of the MAPSB window is supported in all browsers. For example, for a system with three monitors, you can adjust the MAPSB window to extend it across all three monitors.
A system with single monitor saves the MAPSB window size configuration after you close the MAPSB session. This applies to all the supported browsers.
The following conditions apply when working on an MAPSB session that is extended across multiple monitors:
Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers save MAPSB window size configuration even after you close the MAPSB session. When you relaunch MAPSB, these browsers restore the window size and position. To save the window size configuration in Internet Explorer, click Settings > Internet Options > Security Tab > Custom Level > Allow script-initiated windows without size or position constraints > Enable.
Google Chrome does not save settings of window size configuration.
