Identifying Problems with Process Plans (Routings)
This section describes common problems and possible causes that relate to process plans (routings).
Unable to create a process plan (can’t see it in Oracle Applications)
The following can cause this problem:
The department specified in the work center does not exist in Oracle Applications.
The operation label length exceeds 4 characters.
The resource (Work center, Skill, Tool or Processing material) does not exist in the Oracle Applications or the resource is not assigned to the appropriate department.
The schedule flag for the resource is specified as Yes in Windchill but it is non scheduled resource. To resolve this problem contact the Oracle administrator to check whether the resource is scheduled or not and make the changes appropriately.
The number of an operation in a parallel or alternate sequence does not lie between the numbers of the branching and return operations on the standard sequence
