Setting the Windchill Lock Panels Preference
This option enables an administrator to control which Windchill Arbortext IsoDraw users can connect to the Windchill server when Windchill Arbortext IsoDraw is running. The Windchill lock and unlock function is accessible from the Edit > Preferences > Administrator panel in Windchill Arbortext IsoDraw.

The Administrator panel is optionally password-protected.
1. Choose Edit > Preferences in Windchill Arbortext IsoDraw.
2. Click the Administrator panel icon. The Administrator panel opens if no password is set.
If the Administrator option is password-protected, enter the password and click OK.

If you do not know the Administrator password, you will not be able to lock or unlock preferences.
3. In the Administrator panel:
a. Scroll to the Windchill icon and select it.
b. In the Windchill panel, click the Lock or Unlock button to lock or unlock.
▪ Choose Unlock to allow an Windchill Arbortext IsoDraw user to connect to Windchill.
▪ Choose Lock to prevent an Windchill Arbortext IsoDraw user from connecting to Windchill.

If the Windchill preference is set to Lock, a user with Windchill Workgroup Manager for Windchill Arbortext IsoDraw will not be able to connect to the Windchill server.
c. Click OK.
