Distributed Installation - Two Machines

The Two machines Windchill Business Reporting installation scenario is not supported in the Windchill 11.1 F000 release.
In a two machine distributed installation scenario, the Windchill Business Reporting host components are installed on a separate machine from the gateway server and your Windchill solution. The PSI is run twice, in the following order:
1. Installing the PTC Windchill Business Reporting Host Components
2. Installing the Gateway Server and Windchill Solution
Installing the PTC Windchill Business Reporting Host Components
From the list of solutions to install, select the Standalone Product or Component checkbox.
Select from the following standalone product or component options:

If you leave both the Oracle Configuration and SQL Server Configuration deselected, it is assumed that a database and associated user already exist, and that you will supply that information in the database information screen.

Select this option if you are configuring an Oracle database as part of this installation scenario. Under this option, select the following as appropriate:
Create Database - selected by default.

When creating an Oracle database using PSI, you can launch PSI as the user that installed the database software, or as root user.
Create PTC Windchill Database User Account - selected by default.
Create PTC Windchill Business Reporting Database User Account - selected by default. Select this checkbox to create a new database user. To use an existing database user, deselect the checkbox.
SQL Server Configuration
Deselected
Select this option if you are configuring a SQL Server database as part of this installation scenario. Under this option, select the following as appropriate:

Create PTC Windchill Business Reporting Database and User - deselected by default. Select this checkbox to create a new database and user. To use an existing database and user, leave deselected.
PTC Windchill Business Reporting
Deselected
Select this option to install the Windchill Business Reporting components. Under this option, select as follows:
Install the Host Components - Select this option to install the host. Select from the following as appropriate for your installation; you must select one:
Configure SQL Server Database
Configure SQL Server Cluster Database
Install the Gateway Server - Deselect this option.
Enter the following installation directory information:

Enter the following database information. If you selected the Create PTC Windchill Business Reporting Database User Account or Create PTC Windchill Business Reporting Database and User checkbox previously on the standalone product or component options screen, then the values entered in these fields are used to create the user. Otherwise, enter the values for an existing database user.

Confirm the password entered in the previous field. This field appears only if the Create PTC Windchill Business Reporting Database User Account or Create PTC Windchill Business Reporting Database and User option was selected previously from the optional products screen.
Specify the appropriate LDAP settings for your configuration. For more information, see Entering Your LDAP Settings.

Installing the Gateway Server and Windchill Solution
From the list of solutions to install, select the Windchill solution or solutions you are installing.
On the optional products screen, select PTC Windchill Business Reporting.
On the product optional features screen, select the following options, as appropriate:
