Templates Used with the Part Request Process
The part request process uses several out-of-the-box templates to control its creation and approval. Your Site Administrator can modify the templates to adapt the processes to the needs of your company.
Team Template
The part request process uses the PR Team template that defines all required roles. To view the default PR Team template, go to > , select PR Team, and then click View.
Life Cycle Template
The part request life cycle template describes the out-of-the-box life cycle states available for the part request process. To view the life cycle template, go to > , select Part Request Life Cycle, and then click View.
The following figure shows a standard life cycle for the part request process.
Workflow Template
The part request workflow template defines sequences of tasks for completing the part request process. To view the workflow template, go to > , and then select Part Request.
Object Initialization Rules Template
The part request object initialization template sets the default life cycle template for the part request process. It can also be used to set auto-numbering for part requests and to specify team templates to use.
