Checking the Adapter Status
This procedure explains how to check the status of an SCM or DTS adapter from Products, Projects, and Libraries in Windchill.
1. From Products > Utilities, Projects > Utilities, or Libraries > Utilities, select Adapters Administration in the System Administration section of the page to open the Adapters Administration window.
2. From the Actions column, in the object row of the adapter you want to check the status of, click Status to open the Adapter Status window.
The Adapter Status window contains the status attributes of the selected adapter.
Field
Description
Adapter Name
The descriptive and unique name to identify the adapter machine.
Adapter Type
The type of adapter.
Adapter Status
The status of the adapter.
The Not responding status displays when the adapter has stopped responding or running on the adapter machine.

Contact your Site or Organization administrator to request a restart of an SCM or DTS adapter machine.
The Running status displays when the adapter is successfully running on the adapter machine.
3. Click Close to exit the Adapter Status window.
