Description
Open as Downstream
When working in Dual Structure Pane Mode opens the selected part in the right-hand side pane and displays all equivalent upstream parts in the left-hand side pane.
Open as Upstream
When working in Dual Structure Pane Mode opens the selected part in the left-hand side pane and displays all equivalent downstream parts in the right-hand side pane.
Edit Filter
Opens the Edit Filter window so you can choose the criteria by which product structures are expanded. The configuration specification set using this menu selection applies only to the current session of the explorer.
Current Filter
Opens a window displaying the filter property information that was used to expand the selected node in the structure.
Saved Filters > Save
Saves the current criteria to the database, prompting you to name the saved criteria. The saved expansion criteria is then displayed in a list within the Show List window.
Saved Filters > Manage
Opens a window displaying all filters available in the current context. From this window, existing filters can be shared with other users or the user can choose to show or hide a filter in the list of available filters.
Saved Filters > Show List
Opens a window showing a list of saved filters for the current user and any filters shared to the current user. To display a shared filter in this list use the Manage window and select Show for the shared filter. A default filter for the current context appears at the top of the list. Selecting an item in the list of filters in this window applies the filter to the current product structure.
Query
Defines specific criteria with which to locate objects in the structure. See About Queries.
Expand All
Fully expands the structure from the selected node according to the current configuration specification.
Refresh
Updates the structure of the selected node according to the current configuration specification.
Information
Opens the HTML property page of the selected part.
Select Parent
Selects the parent of the currently selected part.
Display Related Manufacturing Objects
Opens the HTML Collected Objects page, which lists all manufacturing objects related to the selected object, as selected by the collector. The collector is used in cases where it is inefficient to search for one object at a time. For example, the collector allows you to navigate a structure to find related objects that you also might want to include in a change impact analysis.
Reports > Multi-Level Components List
Displays a consolidated list of components and their quantities within an entire product structure. Unlike the Multi-Level BOM report, this report does not list the levels of the parts and does not illustrate the part-component relationships. Each component is only listed once with a consolidated total quantity.
Reports > Single Level BOM
Displays the parts directly used by a parent part. If a part is used more than once, it appears more than once in the list. Information pertaining to the part and uses relationship are displayed
Reports > Single-Level Consolidated BOM
Displays all parts and their quantities that are directly used by a parent part. If a part is used more than once, it does not appear again; instead, the total quantity displays.
Reports > Multi-Level BOM
Displays an indented list of single-level BOMs for all levels of a product structure. If a part is used more than once at a particular level, it appears more than once. Information pertaining to the part and uses relationship is displayed.
Reports > Multi-Level BOM with Replacements
Displays the multi-level BOM with the available alternates and substitutes that can be used as replacement parts.
Reports > Multi-Level BOM Compare
Compares the product structures of two parts, configurations, or instances (using two configuration specifications) and displays any differences in parts and/or part versions or iterations that might occur several levels deep in their respective product structures.
The system starts at the top of the hierarchies and compares until it finds an inconsistency, which it then reports.
Structure Table Details
Opens a window where you can select the table columns that display as well as their order.
Compare to Downstream Report
Use to compare upstream and downstream BOMs for discrepancies and inconsistencies.
Compare to Upstream Report
Use to compare upstream and downstream BOMs for discrepancies and inconsistencies.
Upstream Filter Properties
Allows you to set the filter criteria to be used when looking for an equivalent link.
Downstream Filter Properties
Opens a window where you can select the View that is used when compiling the equivalent link state and to compute the downstream equivalent status.
Open In
Opens the product structure in aCreo View window.
View In Gantt Explorer for
Opens the associated process plan for the part in a Gantt for Windchill MPMLink window.
*
Phantom manufacturing parts are not loaded, with the exception of the top assembly node, which is always loaded. This action creates constraints between the process plan allocated parts and the higher level process plan operations.
Open in Explorer
Opens the selected object and its related objects, or the selected object's related objects in Windchill MPMLink, or a selection tab.
Select in
Use to select the selected object and its related objects in an openCreo View explorer.
