In order to produce a product, it may be necessary to design and create resources that are unique to your production needs. For example, you may have to create a work center that is capable of performing a specific function, using parts designed in a 3D environment.

This work center is in effect, a part that is needed for use during the manufacturing process, but is created during a different phase of the production process. The Manufacturing Resource Explorer’sEquivalent Parts tab displays the part that is equivalent to the manufacturing resource.
