Adding and Removing Assemblies in the Assembly Editor
All assembly parts opened in the Advanced Assembly Editor appear both in the Available Assemblies and the Assembly Editor panes by default. When a large number of assembly parts have been opened, you can edit a smaller subset of the available part structures by using the remove from the assembly editor icon and add to assembly editor icon.
Removing Assemblies from the Assembly Editor using the Available Assembles Pane
Select one or more assembly parts in the Available Assemblies pane and either click the remove from assembly editor icon or select Remove from Assembly Editor from the right-click menu. The selected assemblies disappear from the Assembly Editor pane but remain visible in the Available Assemblies pane.
*
Remove from Assembly Editor is only available from the right-click menu when all the selected assemblies are currently displayed in the Assembly Editor pane.
Removing Assemblies Directly from the Assembly Editor Pane
Use the radio button to select one assembly column in the Assembly Editor pane and select Remove from Assembly Editor from the right-click menu. The selected assembly disappears from the Assembly Editor pane but remains visible in the Available Assemblies pane.
*
Removing an assembly from the editor pane that is marked for change displays a message prompting you to save your changes. Click OK to continue editing.
*
All assemblies that are currently displayed in the Assembly Editor pane are marked with an asterisk in the far left column in the Available Assemblies pane.
Adding Available Assemblies to the Assembly Editor
Select one or more assembly parts in the Available Assemblies pane and click the add to assembly editor icon or select the Add to Assembly Editor from the right-click menu. The selected assemblies are displayed in the Assembly Editor pane.
