Editing an Illustration

Edit illustrations to a parts list using the following steps:

1. From Windchill, select Information Structure, or Folders from the Navigator pane.

2. In the Information Structure or Folders window, right-click the Parts List product name you want to edit one or more illustrations and select Open In > Open Content in Parts List Editor.

3. In the Parts List EditorStructure tab, select the illustration you want to edit and click

Check Out in the Parts List Editor ribbon.

Depending on your preference, you can check out the illustration from the active workspace or from within an active Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw session.

4. Click Open In > Open in IsoDraw

or Open in IsoDraw

to open the illustration in an active Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw session.

5. If you haven’t checked out the illustration while in the active workspace, you can check out the illustration in Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw. To do so, select Check Out

in the Windchill toolbar.

6. When finished editing the illustration, you can save it to the active workspace, or check in using the check in options in Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw or from the Windchill active workspace check in options.
