Importing a File From Windchill

You can import a Creo Illustrate file from Windchill into your Creo Illustrate session.

If you want to preview the file before downloading (placing) it into your active Creo Illustrate session, refer to Previewing Before Downloading for additional information.

1. In an active Creo Illustrate session, select File > Import > From Windchill.

2. Browse to the file you want and select it.

3. Click Open. The selected illustration is imported the active Creo Illustrate session.

Updating a source in Creo Illustrate fails if a object that was placed in an illustration is renamed in Windchill during an open session. If this happens, synchronize the workspace, close the Creo Illustrate illustration, reopen it, and update the source again.
