Create a software document or a software configuration data document using New Document and New Multiple Documents from various locations throughout Windchill
Actions menu on the Details page for a product or library.

Toolbar icons, such as New Document , or Multiple Documents on various tables.
Edit a software document or a software configuration data document using the following methods:
Select Check Out and Edit from the actions menu of the Folder Contents table.
Select Check Out and Edit from the right-click actions menu in a table row.
Select Edit from the right-click actions menu in a table row if you have already checked out the document.
Select Check Out and Edit from the actions menu on the information page of a document.
Select Edit from the actions menu on the information page of the document if you have already checked it out.
Attach, replace, or remove primary source and attachment content for a software document or a software configuration data document using the following methods:
From the software document, or software configuration data document information page Content tab, add/edit/remove attachments in the Attachments table.
Toolbar icons, such as New Document and New Multiple Documents on various tables.
The New Document, New Multiple Documents, and Edit Document window.
The toolbar, Attach New Software File in the Attachments table.
The toolbar, Attach New Local File in the Attachments table.
The toolbar, Attach New URL in the Attachments table.
