Editing Multiple Classic Plan Objects
You can select multiple plan objects and edit the status (that is, status, percentage complete, status description, effort, and actual start and finish dates) for each plan object at once.

This is only available for plans that are manually executed. You cannot edit summary activities or subprojects in this manner. In some cases, changes made to the plan objects may result in inconsistencies in the plan that violate the defined plan constraints. If this occurs, an error message is displayed and no changes are made to the plan.
Use the following instructions to edit more than one plan object at the same time:
1. On the Plan table, select the plan objects (activities, milestones, or deliverables) you want to edit and click the edit icon .
or
On the Tasks page under Project in the Navigation pane, select the plan objects you want to edit and click the edit icon .
The Edit Multiple Plan Objects window appears. Only the objects the user has access to edit are listed.
2. You can enter the following information for each plan object (identified by its plan node ID number and name):

This field is displayed as Actual Effort if the project or program cost tracking is turned on. Enter the edited percentage or hours completed for each plan object.
Actual Start Date
Enter the date on which the project or program started or click the calendar icon to select a specific date from the calendar.
Actual Finish Date
Enter the date on which the project or program was completed or click the calendar icon to select a specific date from the calendar.
Status
Select the appropriate status designation for each plan object. Green indicates no problems. Yellow indicates caution. Red indicates an alert of high risk.
Appended Status Description
Enter a brief description to be appended to each plan object's current status description.
3. Click OK.
The table is refreshed to display the edited information.
