Subscribing to a Classic Deliverable, Action Item, or Plan Object
You can subscribe to deliverables, action items, milestones, activities, summary activities, and subprojects.
If you are a plan object owner, you can add and remove subscriptions to the plan object while editing it.
Use the following procedure to receive email notification of specified events:
1. Select Subscribe from the right-click actions menu of an object.

If you are subscribing to an action item, the action item is subscribed to as soon as you select Subscribe. There are no further steps to be taken. You will receive an email notification when the action item is resolved, edited, deleted, or obsolete.
2. Select the events to which you want to subscribe:
Event
Description
Status Change
Sets up notification of change in status.
Estimated Finish Date Change
Sets up notification of a change in the estimated finish date.
Missed Due Date
Sets up notification of the passing of the due date without completion.
[X] Days Before Due Date
Sets up notification to send an alert at a specified number of days before the due date will occur. The number of days is defined when the plan object or deliverable is created or edited.
Object Deletion
Sets up notification of the deletion of the object.
Percent Done Change
Sets up notification of a change in the percentage of completion.
State Change
Sets up notification of a change in the state of the object.
Due Date Change
Sets up notification of a change in the due date.
[X] Days After Due Date
Sets up notification to send an alert at a specified number of days after the due date has passed. This includes the number of days the plan object is overdue. The number of days is defined when the plan object or deliverable is created or edited.
Owner Change
Sets up notification of a change in the owner.
3. Click OK to create the subscription.
You can later unsubscribe or delete and cancel the subscription. Deleting a subscription cancels it for all subscribed users and removes it from the Windchill database.
