Renaming an Organization

By renaming an organization, you replace the current name in the Windchill database and in the directory entry for the organization.

To change the name in the organization's directory entry, you must have write permission to the directory server containing the organization entry.

To rename an organization, use the following procedure:

1. From the right-click actions menu of the organization to be renamed, select Edit Organization. You may need to add the organization to the Participant Administration table.

The Edit Organization window opens.

2. Edit the existing value in the Organization Name field.

3. You can also edit other fields on the window as described in Editing an Organization.

4. After making the desired changes, click OK.
