Date and Time Operators
You can use the following operators in date and time searches:
Operators Menu
Operator
Function
between
Finds all objects modified between the first second of date/time and the last second of date/time.
For example, you could find all baselines modified after the first second of June 26, 1998 and before the last second of June 27, 1998.
To exclude objects matching this criterion, select the Not check box.
on
Finds all objects modified on date/time.
For example, you could find all baselines modified on June 26, 1998.
If you enter a year, month, and day in one of the timestamp fields, the search calculates the first second and the last second of that date. Consequently, the on search returns objects modified in the 24-hour period specified.
To exclude objects matching this criterion, select the Not check box.
before
Finds all objects modified before date/time.
For example, you could find all baselines modified before 1:00 PM on May 14, 1998 (that is, all baselines with a timestamp whose value is less than the specified value).
If you were to select the Not check box, you would change the meaning of this example to find all baselines modified on or after 1:00 PM on May 14, 1998 (that is, all baselines with a timestamp whose value is greater than or equal to the specified value).
after
Find all objects modified after date/time.
For example, you could find all baselines modified after 1:00 PM on May 14, 1998 (that is, all baselines with a timestamp whose value is greater than the specified value).
If you were to select the Not check box, you would change the meaning of this example to find all baselines modified on or before 1:00 PM on May 14, 1998 (that is, all baselines with a timestamp whose value is less than or equal to the specified value).
