Removing a Classification

Data Management Capabilities > Managing Part Structures > Product Structure Explorer > Checking Out an Object > Removing a Classification

When Windchill PartsLinkis installed with Windchill PDMLink, you can classify a new or existing part using Product Structure Explorer.

To remove a classification, use the following procedure:

1. In Product Structure Explorer window, check out the part for which you want to remove the classification.

2. On the Information > Classification tab, click Remove Classification
