Change management must be enabled in Oracle Applications or SAP to create change numbers for objects. Change management must also be enabled and change numbers generated to create new revisions for objects in Oracle Applications or SAP.

If the revision management flag is not configured consistently with change management in Oracle Applications or SAP, information may either not be sent to Oracle Applications or SAP or an error message may appear. If either of these occurs unexpectedly, see your system administrator to verify that Windchill ESI is configured properly.
