If the Windchill Toolbar is Missing
The Windchill toolbar
is accessible from the
Customize Toolbars panel in
Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw when
Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw is connected to Windchill.
Check the Arbortext IsoDraw Connect to Windchill Status
If the Windchill toolbar is missing in Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw, it may be because you have not set the Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw preference to “Connect to Windchill.” This action invokes the connection to the Windchill server and launches the Windchill Workgroup Manager client. The Windchill Workgroup Manager client implements the Windchill toolbar in Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw.
Perform the following procedure to check the Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw status of the “Connect to Windchill” preference, or to set the “Connect to Windchill” preference.
1. From an Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw session, select > .
2. Select the
Windchill Preferences panel.
| If the Windchill Preferences panel selection is missing from Preferences, refer to Troubleshooting. |
3. In the Windchill panel:
a. If Connect to Windchill is selected, click Cancel to exit the window. Go to step 6.
b. If Connect to Windchill is not selected, select Connect to Windchill and click OK to confirm the selection and exit the window.

4. Exit Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw.
5. Restart Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw.
Open the Windchill Toolbar
The Windchill toolbar is accessible from Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw when Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw is connected to the Windchill server.
1. To open the Windchill toolbar:
a. Choose > in Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw.
b. In the Customize Toolbars panel, select Windchill and click OK . The Windchill toolbar displays in the drawing window.
| You can dock or move the Windchill toolbar by holding down the left mouse button while you drag the toolbar to the desired location. |
Troubleshooting
If the problem still exists, it may be due to the following reasons:
• Windchill Workgroup Manager client is not installed on the client machine.
• Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw is not registered with Windchill.
• Preferences may be locked on the Windchill server.
• Preferences may be locked in Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw.
• If you were upgrading from a previous version of the Windchill Workgroup Manager client, and did not follow the instructions in chronological order of the “Installation and Configuration” section of the guide to:
1. Stop the PTC VFS Controller Service.
2. Uninstall the Windchill Virtual File System (VFS).
3. Uninstall Windchill Workgroup Manager client.
4. Delete Windchill Workgroup Manager files and folders.
5. Install the new version of Windchill Workgroup Manager client.
6. Register Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw with Windchill
7. Check the Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw Connect to Windchill Status
8. Check the locked panels preference in Servigistics Arbortext IsoDraw.
