Comparing Creo Parametric Native Save As
Workspace or commonspace Save As in Windchill is distinct from the > options available in Creo Parametric. WindchillSave As presents many options for file naming, numbering, and storage location. The more limited Creo Parametric native Save As options are the following.
• Save a Copy—Opens the Save a Copy window. If you are in a connected session, it saves a copy of the active model into your workspace. If you are not connected to Windchill, it opens by default to your local working directory and you can navigate to another local storage location.
• Save a Backup—Opens the Backup window (by default, displaying your local working directory) to save a local (only) backup copy of the active model. You can navigate to another local storage location.
