SolidWorks: Autonumbering of Mirrored Components
Product: Windchill Workgroup Manager for SolidWorks
Release: 11.0 F000
Benefit
Parts created using the SolidWorksMirror Components command are allocated autonumbers in the same way as parts created using File > New in SolidWorks. Once the autonumber has been applied to the mirrored component, the new part can be uploaded and checked in like any other file.
Additional Details
Previously, when Windchill PDMLink autonumbering was enabled, new components created using the Insert > Mirror Components > Opposite Hand Version command in SolidWorks were not autonumbered. This enhancement applies autonumbers to mirrored components, and the new part can be uploaded and checked in like any other file. When there are multiple mirrored files (for example, in the mirroring of an assembly) all files created with Opposite Hand Version are saved with Windchill autonumbering.

Windchill autonumbering is not provided for Derived Configurations or suppressed Mirror Components as part of this enhancement.
