Improved availability of applicability information assigned to a parts list and its items facilitates the management and validation of parts lists.
Additional Details
New interface options display the applicability (ATO and Service Effectivity) settings assigned to a parts list, a part list item, or an illustration.
• Applicability tab for a parts list structure
The tab lists in three fields the current applicability settings for the parts list, parts list item, or illustration that is selected in the parts list structure:
◦ Assigned Item Expressions—ATO settings for a selected parts list or parts list item (part)
◦ Assigned Usage Expressions—ATO settings for a parts list item (part usage) or illustration
◦ Service Effectivity—Service Effectivity settings for all parts list object types
The view is read-only.
• View Applicability option for a part in a BOM
Choosing this option opens a read-only Applicability window, which lists the current applicability settings for a BOM part.
View Applicability is available from the context menu for a part selected on the BOM tab of a parts list structure. The BOM tab details the BOM associated to the parts list.
